The sculptural medium stands as a testament to the innate human impulse to shape, mold, and breathe life into inert matter. Sculptures have served as conduits for humanity to give tangible form to intangible ideas, emotions, and narratives. From the ancient statues of gods and goddesses to contemporary abstract sculptures that challenge our perceptual boundaries, sculptures attest to the innate impulse to communicate narratives far beyond what is easily perceivable.

For “Forma Natura” Galerie Joaquin shows a collection of works that features a lineup of distinguished artisans whose goal for the audience is to rediscover the remarkable significance of complex and ever-growing iterations of their own artistic identity. Focusing on harnessing the potentiality of sculptural works as mediums for creative expression, the pieces exhibited examine the views and visions of each artist and the relationship between artistic creativity and their associated life, taking into account their unique vantage points and perceptions.

A compound of the word “Forma” a Latin and Italian word to denote form, shape, or appearance, and “Natura” which means a system of the existence, forces, and events of all physical life, Forma Natura is the melding of both meaning as we bear witness to the pulse of life within the seemingly lifeless vessels, where its essence lies within the eternal dance between the tangible and transcendent.
